Archangel Tyrael
EA being taken over? i thought EA were really rich and stuff? why do they need a takeover? Well as you read "nexon" hate that company by the way, had bidded on taking over the company. I will look more into this as to why. I am just as curious as you. Update!: EA shares jump on report of takeover offer from NexonSouth Korean free-to-play gaming specialist reportedly keen on the FIFA publisher EA shares have risen $1.22, or 8.1 percent, to $16.23 following reports that South Korean developer and publisher Nexon has made a takeover bid for the company. Bloomberg said in a video report: "According to a South Korean newspaper, the online gaming company Nexon Japan has contacted EA about making an offer. We have no idea how Electronic Arts may have responded to this reported offer." Forbes reports that EA's stock has recently been trading close to a 52-week low, as it continues to struggle through a transition from a packaged goods firm to a digital-focused publisher. EA has a market capitalisation of around $5 billion. Nexon, which is headquartered in Japan, specialises in free-to-play MMORPGs like MapleStory. Our friends at GamesRadar recently named Nexon's Vindictus and Atlantica Online as two of the best free MMORPGs. All i can find Mr.Biggles.
