A new patch is out now for Hogwarts Legacy on Xbox and PC, with a PS5 release coming later due to the developer encountering an unforeseen issue. This patch, the first major one for the Harry Potter game since launch, mainly addresses "overall gameplay performance and stability."

The update fixes rare crash events and issues with characters appearing "flickering with a transparent head" while their hair is still present. The patch also fixes problems with the game's cinematics, including VFX presentation of robe transformation and a stability issue for when players skip cutscenes. Additionally, various problems related to game saves have been addressed, along with issues pertaining to ray-tracing and upscaling, among others.

You can see the full patch notes below, as shared by the developer.

The PS5 patch has been delayed "due to some unforeseen issues," developer WB Games Avalanche said on Twitter. The patch should hit PS5 later this week.

Hogwarts Legacy launched earlier in February and had a gigantic debut, reaching nearly 900,000 concurrent players on Steam. The game also put up huge numbers on Twitch.
