Motion Twin has shared the final teaser for its upcoming Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania DLC, revealing a secret mode featuring a classic Castlevania character.

Alongside a brand-new look at the latest DLC, the developer revealed that players will be able to play as Richter Belmont in the Richter Mode, which lets them take control of the iconic Castlevania character. The mode is only available in a secret level located somewhere deep inside Dracula's castle and will feature Richter's classic moveset inspired by Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

The special moveset features jumping whip attacks and other abilities taken from the Castlevania franchise, as well as set pieces that can be found throughout the expansion. Additionally, players will be able to destroy candles located around the castle and collect hearts, which can be used as ammunition for certain weapons.

The gameplay trailer also confirmed there will be a boss fight against Medusa and other enemy types that players will uncover throughout their exploration of Castle Dracula. The game's protagonist The Beheaded will also be able to use an array of weapons--from both Richter and Alucard--including the Vampire Killer, Throwing Axe, and more.

Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania is set to launch on March 6 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
