Capcom is creating a digital theme park to celebrate its 40th anniversary, the publisher announced as part of its recent Capcom Spotlight livestream.

The "theme park," officially called Capcom Town, will include a digital museum documenting Capcom's history, as well as "other buildings" that the publisher hasn't yet elaborated on. A teaser site mentioned during the presentation, teaser.captown.capcom.com, doesn't appear to be working as of this writing.

Fans can expect to check out Capcom Town on June 12, 2023, the same month as the publisher's anniversary. That will put the site's arrival just prior to E3 2023, which begins June 13.

Other announcements during the Capcom Spotlight included a release date and open beta for Exoprimal (which will also launch day one on Xbox Game Pass), as well as a release date for Ghost Trick and the arrival of a demo for the upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake.
