Season 3 of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 arrives on April 12, and the big update will add a new battle royale feature, which offers rewards for convincing someone else to try the game.

The upcoming Recruit-a-Friend program will reward existing Warzone 2 players for recruiting new players to the battle royale. This program gives a total of eight cosmetic rewards that can be earned. However, there are some requirements a player must meet to be eligible to earn the rewards.

Players must have at least three hours played on the game and have an account older than 60 days to be eligible. This eligibility will allow them to invite up to three eligible friends per season. To be considered an eligible friend, these newcomers must have an Activision account that is either less than seven days old or they must not have played Warzone 2 in the last 60 days. Basically, anyone who hasn't hopped into the battle royale since launch is now considered eligible.

Both the recruited players and their recruiters can earn some great rewards for completing a few simple challenges together, such as playing games or completing contracts in matches. These rewards include up to two weapon blueprints, double XP tokens, calling cards, and more. The official Call of Duty Twitter account tweeted an image to showcase all of Season 3's program rewards.

While this program starts with Season 3, players can already sign up on the Recruit-a-Friend website to receive a double XP bonus reward. Then when Season 3 is live, they can go back to the site, log in to their Activision account, and select the three friends they want to recruit.

Activision says this recruitment program is not available in Austria, Argentina, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ireland, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Poland, or the Philippines.

Season 3 is announced to have a brand-new battle pass, featuring new weapons and operator skins for both Alejandro and Valeria.
