Darklarik
I know it was never included in any halo games, nor do i think it will be in this. But dam it would be cooll..... could make for some AWSOME assassination effects.

CandiBunni
I really don't wish to see dismemberment or any real amount of gore in Halo...ever. Gore and such work for some games like Fallout, Gears of War, Mortal Kombat, Prototype, Dead Space, etc., but I don't really feel like it works for Halo. To me, Halo has always been a bit more mature in this regard because while it had blood, it was never really used in excessive amounts and there was never an abundance of gore apart from when you killed The Flood. Even then, it didn't really look too disgusting or disturbing enough to really bother me. Seeing gore like that of Dead Space, Gears of War, or any of these other games that feature it would just seem really strange to me if it was in Halo.
fzdw11
Agreed with Ms. Mystic, it works well in certain types of games, but I just don't see it in Halo. Blood? Sure, fine. Dismemberment? Meh. Is it more realistic? Sure, but what about Halo says "realistic"? The fact that we're fighting aliens, or the fact that we have cybernetically enchanched super solders? The way the system works now is fine, and it's not distracting at all. In a game paced like Halo, that's perfect. In Fallout? Sure, dismemberment and gore all the time. There's no competitive aspect to it, unlike Halo. Gears? They have it because, whether they admit it or not, they were shooting for a more immature audiance that enjoys that type of thing. Mortal Kombat was pushing the boundaries when it first came out, just to see if they could. Etc., etc. Keep Halo how it is, a bit of blood. That's all it really needs. Baby Boo
I agree with these two. I would have written a wall of text covering why, but they covered everything. It simply would not be right for halo.
