Nintendo's previous trailer focused on Link's ability to create makeshift weapons, quickly assemble new vehicles from spare parts, and dash through ceilings to get a vertical advantage in his exploration, and the third official trailer is a sizzle reel of action from the upcoming game.Nintendo calls this the final pre-launch gameplay trailer, and it joins a handful of other videos that have been uploaded since the game was first revealed during E3 2019. The sequel to 2017's Breath of the Wild has been clouded in secrecy since development began, and Nintendo has kept details on the game's story under wraps. Previous trailers, which featured Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma, have focused more on Link's new traversal mechanics and some of the big changes that'll be introduced, including how the game is addressing the polarizing issue of weapon durability.Nintendo's most highly anticipated game for 2023, Tears of the Kingdom will launch on May 12 for Switch. Tears of the Kingdom will be the first Nintendo-published game to retail for $70.
