Ubisoft has announced that it'll reveal what's next for The Division franchise in a livestream event that will be held on April 20. According to the publisher, it'll be taking a Christmas Carol approach to the series, as the past, present, and future of The Division will be revealed in the stream.

This deep dive into the games will include a look at the Year-5 roadmap for The Division 2 and its new Descent game mode, an update on The Division Resurgence, and a look at gameplay from The Division Heartland. The livestream will be held on Ubisoft's Twitch and YouTube channels from 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET.

Similar to For Honor and Rainbow Six Siege, The Division 2 has been a consistent performer for Ubisoft since it first launched in 2019 and has received a regular influx of content over the years. The Division Resurgence, Ubisoft's attempt to create a AAA mobile looter-shooter experience for mobile devices, was first unveiled in July last year and is currently scheduled to launch by March 31, 2024, according to the company's release schedule.

As for The Division Heartland, that game was first announced in May 2021 and is being developed by Red Storm Entertainment as a free-to-play title for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Set in a rural US town called Silver Creek, not too much is known about the game but it did receive a new trailer in September last year.

Ubisoft also has plans to share more information on its other projects in development, as the publisher announced that a new Ubisoft Forward event will be livestreamed from LA on June 12.
