We’re just one week away from Age of Wonders 4’s May 2 release date, and PC players can preorder the upcoming strategy game at discount leading up to launch thanks to Fanatical.

This 13%-off preorder deal applies to the Steam version Age of Wonders 4, and drops the price of the Age of Wonders 4 standard edition to $43.49 (normally $50) and the premium edition to just $78.29 (normally $90).

Preorders for either version also include four in-game items as pre-purchase bonuses:

• Aric Rex ruler
• Lion Plate armor set
• Athlan Crown
• Imperial Cape

The Age of Wonders 4 premium edition also contains an expansion pass (which covers four upcoming DLC expansions for the game) and the Archmage attire set. The game and all additional DLC codes unlock via Steam.

Age of Wonders 4 is the latest game in the long-running strategy series that mixes 4X empire building with tactical, turn-based combat and RPG mechanics. Players start out controlling one of the game’s various fantasy factions, expanding their territory through exploration, diplomacy, and warfare. Age of Wonders 4 incorporates more RPG elements than previous entries, giving players more control over their armies and new customization options to personalize their ruler character’s appearance, as well as deeper narrative possibilities to make each match unique.

Age of Wonder 4 releases on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on May 2. Along with Steam, the PC version is also available at the Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, and GOG.
