a live dinosaur
Just thought I would let some people know about this awesome game, CastleMiner or CastleMiner Z. CastleMiner is a small little game for 80 Microsoft Points, but it is actually very fun, or at least I think so. It is a game where you simply build structures out of a variety of different blocks, and you have unlimited blocks. Even better than CastleMiner is CastleMiner Z, for 240 Microsoft Points. Both games are Indie Games, but they are much better than most Indie games. CastleMiner Z is the same thing as CastleMiner, but the "Z" represents the word "Zombie". In this, the world you are on seems much bigger, as there are giant fields mountains, large areas of sand, snow, and huge grass hills/areas. You can also go deep into underground caves, or start digging to the center of the earth straight from surface with your pick axe. You can turn zombies on or off. If zombies are on, you can go to the center of the earth, and find the devil, or "Satan", so I am assuming it is Hell. You can also free-rome everywhere. If you keep walking straight, another big area generates itself. The only bad thing about this game is that you need both games if you want "Creative" mode in CastleMiner Z. That is where if you take a piece of a rock, you magically have unlimited pieces of rock. If you purchase 400 Microsoft Points for $5.00, you can get both CastleMiner and CastleMiner Z with 80 Microsoft Points left over. To prove you have both games for CastleMiner Z if you want Creative Mode, you have to first download CastleMiner. Launch the game, and go to the main menu. Down in the right hand corner of your screen, you will find a little promo code that is usually 8 letters including a "-" in between 4 letters. In the main menu of CastleMiner Z, go to the code option and type it in after writing it down. Don't forget to include the "-" mark. After that, have fun with unlimited blocks. I might be a little scaredy cat, but honestly, the zombie version actually startles me. It is the only game that actually scares me. I once was playing this late at night, and dug a tunnel straight down until it got really dark. I laid down a torch for a source of light, and dug a tunnel (in distance, not depth) that was about 1 foot long, with a ton of turns, so it wasn't a straight tunnel. I heard a skeleton (I know, skeletons aren't scary) so I turned around, and it was right in my face. I pulled out my Assault Rifle and shot it in the face. As soon as I did that, tons of zombies fell down my little hole that I dug and chased me. The only thing I could do was to dig. None of this sounds scary, but it may just be because zombies scare me, period. Zombies are the only "monster" that come for you. If you are inside your house on your nice warm bed, Big Foot is not going to come in your room and eat you. Only zombies come for you, as most creatures attack if you invade they're property. Anyways, I may just be a scaredy cat, and if you are looking forward to a scary game, you might not trust my opinion ever again. If that game actually if frightening to most people, then I am not crazy. All I know is that this game is awesome, even for an Indie game. CastleMiner is 80 MSP, and CastleMiner Z is 240 MSP. All in all, that will cost $5.00. You should try it. I'm being cerealsly. -Via iPhone
sigsaursamurai
Hmm, if you're not used to being frightened, I suggest Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Also, that game looks great, but I prefer the plain old minecraft. :3 (With or without several mod packs on)
