[GameSpot] - PS5 Final Fantasy 16 Console Bundle Preorders Are Now Live

You can now preorder the PlayStation 5 Final Fantasy XVI bundle at retailers. The package--which will release June 22--includes the white Sony system with disc drive along with a digital voucher for the Square Enix action-RPG.

The PS5 Final Fantasy XVI bundle costs $560. Along with the game, this offering will include preorder digital content for the RPG: Braveheart weapon, a Gil-boost accessory called Cait Sith Charm, and an exp-boost accessory named Scholar's Spectacles. GameSpot has a Final Fantasy XVI preorder guide for other bonuses people can obtain through other editions of the game. There also is a limited-edition Final Fantasy XVI DualSense controller, but it's only available in Japan.

The PlayStation 5 Final Fantasy XVI console bundle

In March, Square Enix announced Final Fantasy XVI had gone gold. That means the game was ready to be pressed on physical discs, as well as an indicator the RPG would hit its target launch date. It's the first mainline entry in the long-running series since Final Fantasy XV in 2016.

Last month, a Final Fantasy XVI State of Play showcased real-time combat and world exploration with over 20 minutes of gameplay footage. Sony and Square Enix went more in-depth about the RPG's action, such as highlighting main character Clive's possible abilities and skill tree.
