Spectral Jester
Microsoft are set to introduce a wireless heart rate monitor called Joule with the next Xbox 360 dashboard update. The monitor will launch alongside a new service called Kinect Play Fit which obtains heart rate data with Joule and stores it in the cloud. Apparently, you will be also be able to use Kinect Fit Play without Joule, but details of how that will work remain unspecified. It’s an interesting proposition, one that we hope has applications beyond straight-up Wii Fit equivalents and Dance Central stat-tracking. We’ll see. Expect more at E3 next month.

upton889
This is great news for the people who love kinect workouts. I'll definitely get a kinect if they drop in price a little!
