The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Jonsau Shrine requires you to use force to solve some clever puzzles. While it's not as challenging as some of the game's shrines, it can feel a bit confusing if you're not sure what to expect. If you've found yourself there and want to know how to push through the puzzles, we've got you covered below.

How to solve the Jonsau Shrine Puzzle in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

When you first enter Jonsau Shrine, pick the ball up with your Ultrahand ability and place it under the water directly beneath the target above. When you let it go, it will fire up and hit the target to open the next area.

Send the ball up to hit the target.

As you move around the next platform, check the water for a chest containing a Strong Construct Bow, then defeat the construct enemy here.

Don't miss this chest.

In the next puzzle room, stand the panel straight up and submerge it as you did with the ball previously. When you let it go, it will hit the target and open the next door.

Send the panel up to hit the target.

In this final room, once again place the ball under the water and aim to dislodge the wooden panel above, as it is blocking the elevator next to it.

Dislodge the wooden panel with the ball.

Once you've dislodged it, the elevator will fall, so hop in and use your Recall ability to rewind time, letting you rise to the top and complete the shrine.

Use Recall to lift yourself to the top.

We have many more guides in our Tears of the Kingdom guides hub, including a map of all Shrine locations and more individual Shrine puzzle guides.
