343iBot
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Awakening Set might be one of the coolest in the game. That's because it changes your getup to something reminiscent of Link's Awakening, complete with a cartoony look. Here's our guide to help you get the full Awakening Set in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. How to get the full Awakening Set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the KingdomThe Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Awakening Set consists of the Mask of Awakening, Tunic of Awakening, and Trousers of Awakening. We discuss each item's location in this guide.Do note that each location has a tablet inscription from the legendary thief, Misko, which has clues to the other secret caves where you'll find other pieces of this set. Likewise, you can take a look at the map below to see where the whole endeavor will take you:Awakening Set item locations mapMask of AwakeningLocation: Thundra Plateau - This is fairly close to several landmarks, such as the Lindor's Brow Skyview Tower and Runakit Shrine.Coordinates: -2257, 0882, 0110.To obtain this Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Awakening Set item, you'll have to complete the Thundra Plateau puzzle. Another cave has a clue which requires you to connect the midday shadow of the southern pillar with the northern pillar. What that means is that you need a very long structure that can "link" both the aforementioned pillars when it's noontime. Here's what you need to do:Make your way to the location and cut down several of the smaller mushroom trees.Build a very long pole consisting of roughly seven logs or so.Depending on the time of day, you might want to create a campfire so you can wait until it's noon.At noontime, use Ultrahand to lift one end of the pole and place it on top of the northern pillar. The whole thing should be pointed straight ahead, and within the shadow of the southern pillar. If you do it right, the stone block will move, and you'll be able to grab the reward down below.Thundra Plateau puzzle-solving and solutionTunic of AwakeningLocation: Ancient Columns - This is south of the Iun-Orok Shrine or northwest of the Lady Geoglyph.Coordinates: -3494, 0431, 0247.The main danger here is the Flame Gleeok. Thankfully, it's looking westward. If you approach from the east, it won't even aggro. While the coast is clear, climb the top of the largest pillar in the area, then step on the plate.Ancient Columns puzzle solutionTrousers of AwakeningLocation: Coliseum Ruins - You can get here by going east from Tsutsu-Um Shrine or by gliding southwest from the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower.Coordinates: -1168, -1302, 0094.Getting this Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Awakening Set item can be a bit tricky. That's because there's a Thunder Gleeok waiting in the center of the Coliseum Ruins. It's a bit hard to avoid, even if you're trying to be stealthy. However, if you approach from the south, you can land on the upper ledges first. Then, drop down and hide behind the pillars. You'll notice two knight statues below: one has a sword, and the other does not. Use Ultrahand to grab a nearby Soldier's Broadsword. Then, lift and place it in the second statue's hands. You should be able to do this even while the Thunder Gleeok is aggroed, but watch out in case you take damage from its lightning beams.Coliseum Ruins puzzle solutionAs mentioned earlier, the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Awakening Set changes Link's appearance to be akin to his form from Link's Awakening. That includes the kiddie/cartoony face. While you won't get much in terms of defense (i.e. +3 per piece or +9 in total), the appearance alone will likely lead to a few chuckles. There are numerous mechanics and facets to learn in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
