As usual, the internet did not disappoint. Here's a roundup of some of the best reactions to the Apple Vision Pro that we've seen from across the internet. The Apple Vision Pro differentiates itself from Meta Quest 3 and PlayStation VR 2 by allowing users to see the real world and virtual apps and experiences at the same time. In terms of gaming support, the Apple Vision Pro will support Apple Arcade so users can play Apple Arcade titles on a simulated screen. There will be entertainment and workplace productivity apps available, too, including Disney+ and Microsoft Word, among others. You can see some of the internet's reactions to the Apple Vision Pro below. Keep checking back with GameSpot for more on the headset in the time ahead.Sorry to upset everyone with an incredibly logical POV, but this is a $3500 device for developers to buy and make **** with, so there is a fully functional Vision App Store when they launch the wireless, mass market Vision Air in ~5 years. It's not for us. #AppleVisionPro #WWDC β Ashley Esqueda, no-check heathen (@AshleyEsqueda) June 5, 2023Sorry Apple this is the only augmented reality device I need pic.twitter.com/xWIsQwXe2v β Jason Schreier (@jasonschreier) June 5, 2023Kind of amazed at how little gaming was a part of that Vision Pro announcement, considering how much of a focus it has been for VR so far... β Kyle Orland (@KyleOrl) June 5, 2023Also, Apple doesnβt usually release things that arenβt squarely aimed at the mainstream, but this absolutely feels like Apple charging for a developer kit and calling it a product. β Patrick Klepek (@patrickklepek) June 5, 2023Very happy with all that has been announced. Tackling AR is hardmode, if they nail that fully immerse will also be great! So excited the input is eyes and hands! Important step into the future!! https://t.co/1hRkMI4NL8 β Devin Reimer (@DevinReimer) June 5, 2023i am sorry but strapping a 3500 pair of VR goggles to your face in public is like taping a "Please Rob Me" sign to your chest β rat king (@MikeIsaac) June 5, 2023AR is not a brush that can be just painted on everything and instantly make it better -- though people will try! -- but there are some amazing use cases where it's going to be a quantum leap forward. Interactive instructions while building a PC or working on a car engine. Damn. β Dan Amrich (@DanAmrich) June 5, 2023Yeah, I mean, much of this (especially the office demos with multiple displays) looks remarkably like a Meta show video, but with Apple's taste, a device with 6x the cost, a further multiple of cost performance, and diff focuses on purely virtual versus mixed experiences β Matthew Ball (@ballmatthew) June 5, 2023pic.twitter.com/ksAJdsrBx0 β Tim Sweeney (@TimSweeneyEpic) June 5, 2023View the full article
