Nintendo is getting in on the summer announcement onslaught, as the company has announced a new Nintendo Direct presentation for tomorrow, June 21. Confirmation of a new Direct came from the official Nintendo of America Twitter account. The tweet confirmed the event will feature "roughly 40 minutes of information" of Switch games coming in the second half of 2023, with a particular focus on Pikmin 4, which launches July 21.

Nintendo Direct June 2023 start times

The Nintendo Direct will air tomorrow, June 21, at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET. A list of other timezones is available below.

  • 7 AM PT
  • 10 AM ET
  • 2 PM GMT
  • 12 AM AET (Thursday, June 22)

How to watch the Nintendo Direct presentation

As usual, the Nintendo Direct presentation will stream from several official Nintendo outlets. These include the company's YouTube and Twitch channels, as well as the official Nintendo Direct website. To make things easier for you, however, we will also have the stream embedded right here, so you can watch it in its entirety without needing to even leave this page.

The entire presentation will last approximately 40 minutes, with a particular focus on Pikmin 4. This will follow up the most recent Nintendo Direct, which took place back in February and revealed Metroid Prime: Remastered, a new release date for Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp, and an extended trailer for The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom.

What to expect in the June 2023 Nintendo Direct

Nintendo's confirmed first-party release schedule for the remainder of 2023 is thin, with Everybody 1-2 Switch set to launch June 30 and the aforementioned Pikmin 4 coming July 21. Disney Illusion Island, a Switch-exclusive platformer, is also set for a late July launch.

Other than those titles, there's no official word on what Nintendo's first-party studios are launching between now and the end of the year. Rumors surfaced this weekend of a new 2D Mario adventure in the works, as well as "a remake of a SNES classic," which is speculated to be Super Mario RPG.
