During the latest Nintendo Direct, the company announced a remake of the cult favorite RPG from Square Enix. It's releasing on November 17.The trailer showed the game remade in modern 3D, including characters we haven't seen in years like Mallow and Geno. It still takes place in the same isometric perspective. It was one of the first high-profile examples of Nintendo allowing a third-party developer to make something with its iconic properties, and Square's take on a Mario RPG featured several Square-like touches.
