He revealed that Bethesda had an agreement with Disney to make the Indiana Jones game a multiplatform release. However, when Microsoft acquired Bethesda, the agreement was amended so that the game would be an Xbox and PC exclusive.FTC lawyer questioning Bethesda's Pete Hines confirms that Disney had a deal for an Indiana Jones game that'd be for multiple consoles. More-recent Bethesda games are now becoming exclusive to Microsoft's ecosystem, such as Redfall. Director Harvey Smith said that a PS5 version of Redfall was in development before Microsoft canceled it to make it an exclusive Xbox and PC release.The Indiana Jones game was revealed back in 2021, but its release platforms weren't publicly announced. Their track record with immersive storytelling and rich gameplay experiences has me super hyped... I can already imagine the epic adventures and heart-pounding action that await us in this new game.
