Smaung's massive 49-inch Odyssey CRG9 ultrawide monitor is down to just $850 (normally $1,200) at Amazon, saving you 29% on one of the biggest QLED monitors out there.

While Samsung has several Odyssey monitors of this size, this particular model sports a curved QLED screen with a dual QHD resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels. That's like having two ultrawide monitors fuzed into a single curved display with a 32:9 aspect ratio, making games more immersive and providing plenty of room for multitasking across a single display. The monitor also features a 120Hz refresh rate and Radeon FreeSync, meaning it can support high FPS gaming and variable refresh rate settings if your graphics card is strong enough, as well as a 60Hz mode that's perfect for more modest PC hardware.

This particular Odyssey CRG9 configuration ships with just an HDMI cable, but Amazon has a similar deal on the same monitor but with HDMI and Display Port cables included for $900 as well.

It's also worth mentioning that Samsung's new Odyssey OLED G9 just launched for $2,200--and is likely why the CRG9 is currently on sale. Like the CRG9, the OLED G9 is a 49-inch curved 32:9 display and 5120x1440 resolution, but with an OLED panel and other upgraded features like 240Hz refresh rate and HDR400 support.

If you're interested in comparing other models along with the Samsung Odyssey CRG9, we've gone ahead and rounded up several other gaming monitor deals available at Amazon that are worth checking out as well.
