Can we assume the chief wont have to take on the forerunners?

Considering we know that there will be elites and some covenant in this game, but with forerunners, considering all of John 117's past efforts, surely he wont have to take on a superrace by himself.. -.-

My outlook on it is that we might be faced with them as the enemy at first but I don't think we'll have to fight them or if we do it won't be for the whole game and we'll eventually be on the same side.

I'm with Dan on this one. If we do fight the forerunners, it'll be a temporary thing. I don't think they are going to be the main threat throughout this new trilogy.

Has anyone thought of the posssibility of percecuers? (sorry, spelt it wrong). I think they are more likely an enemy than forerunners. Like those two said, if they are fought, it will be temporary.

No I don't think we'll be fighting Precursors. I'm not even sure if they'll make much mention to them in the game unless this game has terminals which, let's face it, 343 loves to put in so there will be or they will be something similar to them. But going into Forerunners and Precusors in one game is a little much for a start of a new trilogy. Frank said that you supposedly don't need to play the first trilogy to understand this one so I think Precursors would make it too complicated. However there's a good chance I'm wrong haha

If the Precursors return it might not be their original form, if they do in fact come around at all, everyone would be screwed and it'd likely happen in Halo 6.

I'm not ruling out anything yet until the new enimies are confimed but I think we will fight with them not against them.

I think we will be fighting the Precursors or forerunners or the forerunners will help chief defeat the precursor since at the end they said master chief is going to war... but with who?
