Street Fighter 6 has been out for a month, and players are still trying to figure out all of the main roster's secrets at whirlwind speed. A new wind will soon blow however, as Rashid--the game's first downloadable fighter--will join the roster July 24.

Rashid brings his air-based abilities to the game from Street Fighter V, though he has now taken on a content-creator persona. He carries a camera with him to record his parkour stunts, which can be seen multiple times throughout his debut trailer.

Highlights of Rashid's moveset are as follows:

  • Arabian Cyclone
    • A new move in Rashid's arsenal, Arabian Cyclone is a spinning kick that produces a whirlwind, which can be used either by itself or as a transition to other special moves.
  • Arabian Skyhigh
    • Another new technique, Rashid performs a double jump maneuver which lands in a different part of the stage every time, and it will keep opponents on their toes.
  • Super Rashid Kick
    • Rashid's Level 1 Super Art sees him jump forward and up with a kick which will hit multiple times.
  • Ysaar
    • Rashid’s V-Trigger move from Street Fighter V is now his Level 2 Super art, in which he produces a large and slow-moving tornado projectile.
  • Altair
    • Rashid’s Level 3 Super Art sees him kick his opponents into a massive swirling storm, while he jumps through the storm and connects for multiple hits.

In celebration of Rashid's return to the Street Fighter arena, a new in-game Fighting Pass will include avatar gear, emotes, and more themed around the character. It will also include a Rental Fighter ticket, which will allow curious players to try Rashid for one hour when he launches before purchasing him.

Rashid will be available in Street Fighter 6 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. He will unlock immediately for those who own the Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, or the $30 Year 1 Character Pass.
