Here is everything already announced for the big update, including a new map for multiplayer, a new shotgun to unlock, and the final Raid episode for Modern Warfare 2's post-launch story.Call of Duty Season 4 Reloaded start timesBased on the days left in the Season 4 battle pass, the midseason update should arrive on or around July 12-13. These updates usually go live at around 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST.What to expect from Season 4 ReloadedCall of Duty mid-season updates typically bring more maps, modes, and operator bundles. Season 4 already added the Tempus Razorback assault rifle, ISO 45 submachine gun, and the Tonfa melee weapon, but the Reloaded update will add a new shotgun to unlock as well.The Season 4 trailer also teased an upcoming collaboration with Amazon Prime's The Boys television series, so it's very possible themed bundles will be revealed ahead of the big mid-season update.The Season 4 Reloaded update for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will likely include additional weapon balancing and bug fixes as well.Warzone 2Currently, Season 4's new Vondel map is only available as a Resurgence mode, but the mid-season update will add a traditional battle royale experience with a brand-new gulag.Season 4 Reloaded will include the return of Warzone 1's Occupation Scan public event, which requires players to go prone during this brief scan to avoid having their location exposed on the map for everyone to see. Activision also teased a new "redacted quest" would be available, but it's uncertain what kind of quest players can expect.Season 4 already added major changes to Warzone's DMZ mode, including a new map and an overhaul to the menus and how items are unlocked, but more changes could be likely with the mid-season update.Modern Warfare 2Vondel Waterfront mapThe mid-season update will add Vondel Waterfront as a new standard multiplayer map. This is a map that features floating houses on a waterfront setting, which looks similar to the waterfront location on the Vondel map for Warzone 2.Season 4 will include the final Raid episode of Modern Warfare 2's ongoing post-launch narrative, and completing the finale will unlock a Farah operator skin.
