Halo 4 Animated Key Art - Ending

at the end of the halo 4 animated key art in 343's latest halo bulletin, its says "an ancient evil awakens". Now forgive me if this is old information, I usually am one good at remembering things, but i cant recall if the word "awakens" has been used yet when describing the new halo enemy, i only remember the word or words similar to it when talking about chief. This stood out to me because if it hadnt been used to talk about the new foe, it could possibly give us a hint as to who/what the new enemy could be the fact that it will be awoken, like maybe theres info out there about a race of aliens that had been put in a mass cryo or hibernation state or whatever.

i do know what both are, but wasnt sure if there was something else only very briefly ever discussed in halo fiction where the fact, or statement, the ancient evil will be awoken might have come into play pointing to who the enemy would be. I too would like to face precursors, but as far as all info goes, there is only 1 left where the forerunners are a who knows on weather they are alive somewhere or all dead
