[GameSpot] - Star Wars Fan Imagines The Dream Mandalorian Game We All Want To Play

A video game based on The Mandalorian isn't currently in development, but one fan of the hit Star Wars show has created a tantalizing mock-up of what a potential game starring the iconic bounty hunter could look like. Over on Twitter, EA DICE UI technical designer GavMakesGames has shared several screenshot mockups for a dream Mandalorian game. The screenshots focus on Din Djarin, character customization, slick typography, and an eye-catching main menu design that bears a slight resemblance to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Alongside a look at Mando in his shiny Beskar armor, there's also a peek at several alternate armor pieces, a photo mode, and the bounty hunter standing in both a desert and forest environment. One can only hope that he's on the forest moon of Endor and is preparing to hunt Ewoks, the deadliest species in Star Wars.

While your best bet to play a Mandalorian game, for now, is to dig up your old GameCube and dust off your disc for Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, there are still many other Star Wars games on the horizon. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launched earlier this year, and Ubisoft is working on Star Wars Outlaws, an open-world game in which you can explore the Outer Rim territories as Kay Vess.

A new first-person shooter Star Wars game is also coming from Respawn Entertainment, Bit Reactor studio is working on a Star Wars strategy game, and Detroit: Become Human developer Quantic Dream is developing the High Republic-era game Star Wars: Eclipse.

On top of that, Skydance New Media's Star Wars project is being led by Amy Hennig and is described as a cinematic action-adventure with an original story.
