Archangel Tyrael
The PlayStation 3's very first free-to-play first-person shooter, Dust 514 from CCP Games, is now officially open to beta sign-ups via the game's official website. CCP's effort is an ambitious one, with the focus being to link the world of the FPS with the single-shard universe in the developer's popular PC MMO, EVE Online. The Dust 514 beta is currently closed, with the next batch of incoming players pulled from the ranks of EVE Fanfest attendees as well as a select crew of EVE Online subscribers. Signing up now won't get you in immediately; the beta will continue to unfold throughout summer 2012, and CCP will trickle larger numbers in as time goes on. You can expect to hear more on the beta and CCP's launch plans for Dust 514 at E3 2012 in June. http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/723913/dust-514-beta-registration-process-begins/
