Since it was first announced during the May PlayStation Showcase, Sony has kept details on its handheld streaming device Project Q tightly under wraps. Thanks to a recent leak, it looks like information on the operating system has leaked, and it looks like a basic version of Android is currently being used. This is likely still a work-in-progress OS, which will probably be upgraded to be more in line with the standard PS5 console experience.

In a video posted by Zuby Tech on Twitter (via Imgur), footage of Project Q's Android OS shows off the system's menu interface. The user in this video also provides a quick look at the rest of the handheld, and in a separate tweet by Zuby Tech, the internals of this device can be seen.

Not much else is known about Project Q right now, but shortly after it was first revealed, Game Awards host Geoff Keighley posted some information on the device. According to Keighley--but not verified by Sony yet--Project Q has an eight-inch 1080p HD LCD screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, three to four hours of battery life from a full charge, and a DualSense-inspired design that has light piping vertically across each grip.

Project Q will reportedly launch in November, and Sony says that more information will be revealed at a later date. Sony also has PlayStation earbuds on the way, and in December, the company will launch the PlayStation Access controller.
