343iBot Posted July 25, 2023 Report Share Posted July 25, 2023 Netflix Games continues to expand its in-app library of mobile games, as four new titles--including the latest from Netflix's first purchased studio and a new Sonic The Hedgehog adventure--hit the service in July.Netflix began offering games on its mobile apps in 2021, and it has since added over 60 games to its portfolio. Earlier this year, the company confirmed it would be launching 40 more games on the service before the end of 2023, with future offerings including WrestleQuest and Lego Legacy: Heroes Unboxed.Oxenfree 2: Lost SignalsThe four games which launched this month on Netflix Games are as follows:Oxenfree II: Lost Signals (July 12) A follow-up to the 2017 indie hit from Night School Studio--which was purchased by Netflix in September 2021.Sonic Prime Dash (July 13) An endless runner featuring Sonic and his friends from Netflix's Sonic Prime series, which will feature leaderboards for challenging friends. .Too Hot To Handle 2 (July 21) The dating reality show gets another game from Nanobit, where players can create their own characters and mingle with other singles in paradise.The Queen's Gambit Chess (July 25) Players will play chess and solve puzzles with characters featured in the show, and they can also take on friends in online chess matches.GameSpot's review of Oxenfree II called it "quite creepy at times," and that "navigating the game's growing sense of unease as you slowly uncover clues to a greater mystery is an engaging and chilling thrill." All 60+ games offered by Netflix can be found on the Netflix mobile app on both iOS and Android.
