"This resounding success is a testament to the unwavering support and generosity of the gaming community," Bungie said.

Funds raised from this year's Bungie Giving Day Festival will go to partner charities including Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington, Direct Relief, and International Rescue Committee. The Bungie Foundational also works with the Yale Anti-Racist Character Creation Project and the It Gets Better Project. Bungie's three main charitable pillars include children's well-being, humanitarian aid, and inclusion, diversity, and equity.

The 2023 Bungie Giving Day Festival included, for the first time, a community emblem art competition. You can see the winning art here on Bungie's website.

A number of voice actors and celebrities contributed to the campaign by raising awareness and sharing their time, including Nolan North, Danny Trejo, Wil Wheaton, Erika Ishii, Todd Haberkorn, and Mara Junot.

"Our community's commitment, passion, and genuine empathy embody an extraordinary culture of generosity. Together with our incredible community, we lead the way, proving that anything is possible when hearts unite," Bungie Foundation director Christine Edwards said.

Bungie's next charity drive, Game2Give, will take place this November. Bungie said fans can expect "even more surprises" at this event that will raise money for the Bungie Foundation.
