Of all the maps you could have forgotten, you managed to forget the best map in Halo 3 (Heretic).

 

Edit: You actually forgot that entire map pack, Longshore, Heretic, and Citadel.

I would like to see new maps as well as remakes. Guardian, The Pit, Narrows, and Construct form Halo 3 as well as Lockout, Midship, and Warlock from Halo 2. All those were my absolute favorites.

They could bring remakes in a later DLC, in my oppinion, but ship nothing but new maps in the retail disc.

now that i think about it again, I doubt we will see any remakes because how 343 is making mp a part of the overall halo story by having the maps replicas of environments the new spartan class could potentially have to battle on. So that doesnt rule out entirely remakes, i just highly doubt it and personally dont want remakes

No offence but I really hated most of Halo 3's maps. They were always too close quarters-based. Then again, long range maps can be a pain when douch-bags always go for the sniper. If I had to pick I would pick Sandbox because I liked building in the crypt.
