My opinions on the future of gaming

Recommended Posts

If you ask me, gaming plays a pretty big part in the world and its advancing at blinding speeds. One day we may not even need a controller. We may be sucked into the game our selfs, LITERALLY. Imagine you playing as your Spartan or Elite or whatever genre you prefer. Did you know that gaming has introduced new inventions in the military and medical field? The is almost no end to gaming unless SOMEHOW it becomes outlawed, but that could start wars. First, the old arcade games, the xbox, then xbox LIVE, new additions and graphics, HUGE gaming connections. Next is probably some helmet you put on and it pulls your mind into the game. (would be awsome to do that with halo)

I really can't even imagine what more gaming could bring us. It makes my head hurt a bit. These are just my opinions, what do you think the future of gaming should be like? I'm very curious to hear what everyone has to say on one thing most kids almost can't live without. ^_^

One thing I'm worried about though is raging.......how would that work exactly.....?

I've often thought about this myself. We already have 3D games, and some time in the future we'll probably have 4D gaming. The technology may, as Twilight Sparkle said, bring us into the game; or perhaps it will somehow project the game from the TV into the room in which we play. And I'm sure we'll have widespread use of hologram technology within 100 years, because we've already seen laser-projected computer keyboards.

For example:

It's definitely a possibility.
