Nightingale developer Inflexion Games has officially announced that the survival-crafting game will be release into early access on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on February 22, 2024. Revealed at Gamescom Opening Night Live, Inflexion Games also dropped a new trailer for the game, which provides a sneak peek at one of the game's rare apex titans, the Sun Giant.

"After years of dedicated work from the team, we are thrilled to announce that Nightingale will enter Early Access on February 22nd, 2024," Inflexion Games CEO Aaryn Flynn said in a press statement. "That date is a few months later than we previously announced. But as a studio, we're committed to quality, and we take player satisfaction very seriously. We want to ensure that the game delivers on the expectations of our community, who have played a vital role in the development to date. We strive to ensure that Nightingale not only fulfills our vision but also becomes a cherished place for our players to explore and discover with their friends for many years to come."

Set in the mystical Fae Realms, Nightingale cats you as a Realmwalker who explores dangerous lands while gathering resources that'll help you survive and thrive in this wilderness. The game centers around the relationship between humans and the Fae, a race of magical beings who had a hand in humanity's development, and how they helped survivors find refuge in the Fae Realms after a deadly virus destroyed most of human civilization in the late 1800s.

Inflexion Games, a Canada-based studio formed in 2018 by a group of industry veterans, is aiming to create an evolving narrative within the realms of Nightingale while also emphasizing player autonomy in this procedurally generated Victorian gas-lamp fantasy universe.
