So what do you guys think about 343 putting bloom in Halo 4?

While we know it will be in Halo 4, that doesn't mean it will be Halo: Reach's version of bloom. From a statement made by someone who played a build of the game, they said that the DMR's bloom wasn't as bad as it was in Halo: Reach. I'm sure that 343 Industries is going to fine tune everything to make sure it works just how they want it to. I don't mind it being on weapons like the Assault Rifle, DMR, Magnum, etc. Weapons like the Battle Rifle I think can do without it though. Maybe they could have a mix of both bloom and recoil for the weapons in Halo 4. By that I mean some weapons functioning as they did in past games but with recoil added, while others might just use bloom. They could also have certain high power weapons using a combination of both.

Bloom is fine if it has been implemented properly. DMR = bloom in my opinion. It's a powerfuls semi automatic long distance rifle. Accuracy and timing shots are needed, but Way reach handled bloom was awful. BR = Recoil. Why i say this, is because it is a medium ranged 3 round burst rifle, don't want hender it's power for close range by adding bloom..or having no bloom to make it deadly at long range but having recoil solves this. Assault rifle should have no bloom. It's a close ranged assault rifle fully automatic. Shouldn't have recoil or bloom but bullet spread. So it wont be very accurate to a distance. All of it needs to be implemented properly. As i see 343 has done that. I am excited for this game. :)

i think if bloom is controlled properly, it will be an excellent feature.

Yes, when you fired in Reach constantly the aim and accuracy became less so, I think this was a great addition. You could not constantly shoot and hit everything like you could before. I like it and I am partially happy that it will be making a return.

That's what bloom is. It affects the shot.

If the bloom resets fast enough there wouldn't be nearly as many shot inconsistencies.

If you read Killa KC's post on his beta playing in New York he says "The DMR was single shot with bloom. However, the bloom reset much faster than the DMR in Halo Reach. I didn't have to pace my shots much at all. Both the DMR and BR were 5-shot weapons in this build. At the end of the night, I preferred the DMR. It shot faster than the BR, took the same amount of shots to kill, and I didn't feel like the bloom made me miss shots all that often."

You can have bloom without it affecting the shot hardly at all.

It still affects it, but that is good that it is less.
