Nedia
Hey guys, I just noticed in one of the MLG videos (awesome stuff, by the way!) that the blood looks exactly the same as in REACH! Halo 4 MLG footage video: Halo: REACH image (http://www.bungie.ne...px?fid=21515256) I really wonder about that because I always thought that the blood from Halo 3 looks much better With much more details and contrasts, in my opinion. Do they possibly use the blood style from REACH as a placeholder, working meanwhile on a better blood effect for the final game?
CandiBunni
I honestly don't care too much about just how the blood decals look. Halo: Reach's blood decals are better than the ones in Halo 3 in my opinion, so I don't mind if they're taking those and placing them into Halo 4. Blood decals are such a small thing to me that, whatever design they choose, I really won't care all that much.
iTz Vplus2
By the time that blood comes out of the opponent, i already turned around to shoot the next one, so i don't care too much. I agree though, based on those images, Halo 3's blood did look better
a live dinosaur
Lol is it really a big deal? Besides, Halo: Reach blood looks more realistic.
gone
Incredibly well spotted. I must admit, it does seem rather sloppy of 343i to re-use preexisting textures and designs. On the other hand, Halo Reach's blood splatter decals look very nice compared to other games.
Anonymousnorris
Meh, the blood spatters aren't that big of a deal to me. What I find annoying is that they didn't really change the particle effects in explosions, along with the body physics and animations. The particle effects in Reach were terrible in my opinion. Spectrum
The blood spatters look slightly different to me... Deeper in places, paler in others, more of a brown-red than a dark crimson. I dunno, let's see what it's like when the game comes out.
DoctorB77
Personally. I don't see why they should bleed at all. They have armor and shields. Yet they bleed when their shields where hit. Didn't make much sense to me.
Ardent Prayer
Blood...really doesnt have a role in Halo so I don't care about it much .
upton889
Good job with pointing that out. I guess I've never payed attention to that before but it's not that big of a deal to me. As long as the gameplay is good it doesn't really matter.
Guest Hotdog8818
You got a point here.
Buzz Lightyear
Halo 4 uses Reach Engine so it doesn't really surprise me, however I do not really care at all about blood, especially on a game like Halo. Still, thanks for pointing that out, never spotted it.
36-2071 Pragmatic Avarice
Oh look some more whining about the little things in Halo nobody has that much poopoo up their rear end about.

VivaLebowski
Oh the lovely lovely blood...I don't care what it looks like as long as its warm and wet... wait, what? It doesn't really bother me too much either way.

Nedia
By the time that blood comes out of the opponent, i already turned around to shoot the next one, so i don't care too much. I agree though, based on those images, Halo 3's blood did look better I think that if 343i really wants to recycle the blood effect from a previous Halo, they definetly should pick those from Halo:CE or Halo 3! The ones from Halo: REACH were not terrible, but for me they looked a little bit too much like a splatted strawberry pudding rather than blood. Not liquid at all. Halo 3's is maybe a little bit too liquid looking, more like blood mixed with water. A combination between both would be perfect! I just saw a really nice blood effect in a video from Madonna: Wow, amazing! Great color and number of drops, with a bit of light reflecting, and you can perfectly tell where the shot came from! Minuette
Nedia the only reason they don't do realistic blood is because of people who are not well known to blood, and looking at that picture above me is killing my stomache right now so I don't really care about the blood, I have to go now, maybe to the bathroom...... Veer Zamamai
I personally think that Halo 3's blood should be re-introduced. Reach's blood wasn't that bad but I think 3's was a lot better. Now, from the images provided I can see that the blood looks similar to Reach's which is kind of disappointing. They seem to be copying a few things from Reach. I really think they should of made some new blood systems rather than copying previous games...but whatever floats their boats.

BLiX
Does it really matter if the blood looks the same i do not think when someone kills someone else they will be look at the blood they will be going fo the next kill
